As a midlife wellbeing coach, I’ve noticed the holiday season often brings out a hidden struggle for many clients. It’s a time that should feel joyful, yet many end up feeling drained, overwhelmed, and stretched too thin.
That’s why I created the Holiday GLOW Challenge - a simple, accessible way to experience calm, joy, and self-compassion throughout the holidays. This isn’t about simply surviving the season; it’s about grounding yourself in what matters, reclaiming your energy, and nurturing your needs.
The Holiday GLOW challenge utilizes aspects of the GLOW framework most aligned to to the specific needs of the silly season.
I designed the GLOW framework as a holistic approach to self-care to help women like you manage energy, reduce stress, and find balance.
GLOW stands for the following:
G: Grounded self-care: Establishing essential routines for sleep, nutrition, and movement, and developing mindfulness and emotion regulation practices that create a stable foundation for energy and calm.
L: Living with intention: Setting boundaries, prioritizing personal needs, and making intentional lifestyle and environmental choices to protect time and energy, aligning actions with what matters most.
O: Optimizing mindset: Cultivating a positive outlook through gratitude, self-compassion, and simple mindset shifts that enhance resilience and focus.
W: Wholehearted engagement: Fostering meaningful connections, engaging in purposeful, value-driven activities, and taking time for rest and joy, creating a fulfilling, balanced life.
Holiday GLOW includes specific techniques for stress-busting, emotion regulation, boundary setting, developing self-compassion, and living your values.
